Problem: I am receiving an error message that says, "Virgin Media Security was unable to load a required security driver [PKT] / [SKT]"

Resolution:  Use the Diagnostic Utility to reinstall the driver then restart Virgin Media Security.

  1. Shut down Virgin Media Security by selecting Virgin Media Security then Shut down.
  2. Next, click Start and select Programs.
  3. From the Programs menu, select Virgin Media Security then click Diagnostic Utility.
  4. Ensure the Perform all tests option is selected then click Next to start the tests.
  5. When the tests are complete, click the Repair Options drop down menu on the bottom left and select Reinstall drivers then click Repair.
  6. When the repair is complete follow the prompt and restart your computer
